Last month was a busy one for our Flogistix by Flowco teams, and we are proud of the way our people continued showing up for the communities where we live and work.
From supporting students and teachers to partnering with local nonprofits, here are a few highlights:
- Celebrating Grand Junction: We marked our continued commitment to Grand Junction with a ribbon cutting alongside the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce. During the celebration, we donated bikes to Friends of Youth and Nature, a Colorado nonprofit helping underserved youth get active outdoors.
- Thanking local teachers: For Teacher Appreciation Week, we surprised the teachers at St. Clairsville Elementary with locally made cookies. This school is also home to the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation STEM Center we helped open last fall, making this visit even more meaningful.
- Supporting The ComeBack Kid Society: We attended The Comeback Kid Society’s Alice in Wonderland Gala, continuing our partnership with an organization that provides support and resources to youth in foster homes, group homes, and juvenile detention centers.
- Backing Watford City FFA Chapter & Agriculture Education Department: Our Watford City field shop sponsored students from Watford City FFA as they traveled to Oklahoma to compete in the 75th Annual Land & Range Judging Contest in El Reno.
- Showing up for Western Heights: Flogistix provided sponsorship support for Bridgestone Intermediate’s last day of school celebration and cookout, as well as Council Grove Elementary’s ELD class field trip to the OKC Zoo.
- Walking for heart health: Members of our corporate team volunteered at the American Heart Association - Oklahoma's American Heart Walk. Through our sponsorship, CPR kits will be provided to two rural Oklahoma school districts.
- Joining the El Reno Bun Run- 5K & 1Mile Fun Run: ERM sponsored the El Reno Bun Run, a 5K and 1-mile fun run held during El Reno Burger Day, celebrating the official birthplace of the fried onion hamburger.
Community support looks different everywhere we operate, but the purpose is the same: investing in people, supporting the next generation, and showing up beyond the jobsite.
