Winter storms can hide roof damage in plain sight. Here’s what to watch for while the snow is still on your roof:

🧊 Icicles on edges (possible snow damming):
Pretty, but often a sign that melting snow is refreezing and trapping water where it shouldn’t be.

❄️ Heavy, uneven snow:
Snow piling more on one area can stress the roof and point to drainage or insulation issues.

đź’§ Dripping or stains inside:
Even small drips or ceiling discoloration can mean water is backing up under the roof system.

🏠 Sagging roof or cracking sounds:
These are warning signs of excess weight or structural stress and should be checked immediately.

📸 If you notice any of these, document what you see and call a professional. Winter damage is much easier to handle early — especially during the thaw
