Jason had a simple question when a Garmin opportunity crossed his path in 2010: how often does a software engineer get a chance to work in fitness?
So, he made the leap. Best career decision he ever made.
Today, Jason is a staff software engineer on the team that operates the platform that receives data from Garmin devices to display to the user via Garmin apps. Jason and his team are responsible for building the right solutions to keep things running smoothly so that it can routinely process hundreds of thousands of requests per second.
“The people I work with every day are always willing to lend a hand and help one another,” he said. “Not everyone gets to say that about their job.”
Garmin is a globally recognized brand that stays true to its Midwestern roots.
