Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of consistent construction experience REQUIRED
Must have hands-on experience working on active construction job sites
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Job description
We are seeking a Commercial Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:

MUST have 10+ years of Superintendent experience
MUST have 5+ years of building ground up
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Familiarity with construction management software
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented

We are a rapidly growing local construction team serving the greater DeSoto County area seeking a reliable, hard-working Construction Laborer to join our medium-sized crew of 6-10 members. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this role involves hands-on support to skilled tradespeople and active participation in site preparation, material handling, and safety compliance. Our team offers opportunities for certification training and advancement to supervisory roles for motivated individuals eager to grow their careers in construction.

Responsibilities

Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment
Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards
Assist carpenters, plumbers, masons, and other skilled tradespeople with daily tasks
Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and help level the site
Operate hand and power tools safely, including saws, drills, and grinders
Follow all workplace safety rules and OSHA guidelines
Travel frequently within DeSoto County with primarily single site assignments

Required Qualifications

Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform continuous heavy manual labor in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation to various job sites in DeSoto County
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in general construction
Prior general construction or related trade experience preferred but not required — training available
Valid Driver’s License highly preferred

Fulwood Construction Company is seeking experienced, skilled laborers for commercial construction projects in North Mississippi and Jackson, MS. There will be opportunity to work out of town. Per diem and lodging will be provided.

Requirements:
✔ Must have commercial construction experience
