A new New Tormach CNC Scanner has been acquired by Milling Jinn. This gives us a new capability of reverse engineering parts that are no longer produced to exact standards and measuring those items called "metrology" against a known standard drawing!

Meade Robotics will be undergoing a change. Our name will be changing to reflect our mission change, too! We will be focusing mostly on small scale machining and small niche products. After much thought, the name will be changed to: Milling Jinn Machining. Please stay tuned as we make our changes.

Have begun the process of machining the parts for the X-ray Generator Analysis Robot. It has been a slow process getting to this point because of many factors, including funding. However there is promise this project is going forward. I have spent the better part of four years getting here. But, onward we will go!

This is the next generation of the low-cost robotic ARM (Advanced Robotic Manipulator). It sports carbon fiber tubing for segments and closed-loop PID control on all six joints. Meade Robotics shares their first concept drawing of the XGAR project. The XGAR will be powered by a new fuel cell technology that will allow it to run for up to two weeks without a charge. Also, it will be able to use two arms for explosive ordinance disposal work and be able to venture up to 35 miles while sending back information back to it's control unit.
