Missouri Valley Sheet Metal Inc. is hiring for entry level pre-apprentice. We are a Harrison County based Commercial Mechanical & HVAC Contractor who works primarily in the Omaha Metro.

A ‘pre-apprentice’ is an entry level position, and no experience is required. This position has the possibility to be licensed as a City of Omaha HVAC apprentice after 1 year, which is the first step towards obtaining a Journeyman License. Current journeymen rates after 5 years apprenticeship and passing the journeyman exam $30 to $35 an hour. ($60,000+ to $70,000+ annually)

Duties May Include: Deliver materials, assemble duct work, material handling, learn basic sheet metal fabrication, assist with installation of duct and mechanical systems on commercial job sites, shop and job-site clean-up. General Work Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

-Gas Allowance - $25/Week

-Starting Pay $17 & Up per Hour Negotiable, with regular annual pay raises. Higher for persons with construction experience. ($34,000+ Annually)

-Annual Pay/Performance Reviews

-Veterans Encouraged

-2 Paid Breaks plus Lunch Break

-Christmas Cash Bonus (generally two weeks pay)



Requirements:

-Age 17 & Up

-Clean Driving Record

-Drug Free

-Mechanical Aptitude

-Legally able to work in the United States

-Fluent English

-HS/GED Level Math & Reading Skills

-Punctual

-Able to Work from Ladders and Roofs

-Able to Lift 50 Pounds Overhead

-Able to Work in All Weather Conditions
