Sometimes the best thing you can do… is get back to the basics. 🤍

After owning this Bellevue home as a rental for the last several years, our clients are finally making it their own. They’re moving from California to be closer to their adult children, and when this home first came on the market, they knew it was the one—they just weren’t quite ready to make the move.

Fast forward a few years, and before unpacking a single box, they wanted to give the home a fresh start. 🏡

No, every rental doesn’t end up beat up. But there’s something about walking into a home with freshly painted walls that makes it truly feel like yours. Clean. Bright. Reset. 👍🏼

For this project we painted the entire interior with Sherwin-Williams Cashmere Low Lustre in SW Extra White (untinted). It’s a timeless color that instantly opened the space and gave the home a crisp, welcoming feel. 🎨

Honestly, this was one of those projects every contractor hopes for—great clients, smooth scheduling, everything went according to plan, and the final result speaks for itself. ✅

This exterior turned out awesome. 👌

We color-matched the foundation and garage doors to the home's new siding, then primed and painted the brick skirt and chimney white to give the entire house a clean, modern look.

It's always satisfying seeing all the little details come together in the final result.

Grand Island will always be my hometown, and this is something worth sharing. ❤️🎒

Although Little Bo’s Painting Company no longer operates out of Grand Island, I still care deeply about the community I grew up in and the people who call it home.

Railside Barbershop is currently collecting school supplies for their 3rd Annual Back to School Haircut Event, where they’ll be providing free haircuts and backpacks filled with school supplies to local kids.

Railside deserves the recognition here. They consistently put real time, effort, and resources into events that have a direct impact on kids in the Grand Island community.

In an ever-changing world filled with plenty of uncertainty, one thing I can be certain about is that every kid deserves the best possible opportunity to receive a good education and have the tools they need to succeed.

The kids sitting in classrooms today will grow up to shape our communities and society for decades to come. A backpack, notebooks, pencils, crayons, and basic school supplies may seem like small things—but they’re necessities, and not every family has the same ability to provide them.

So I’m donating, and I’m sharing this in hopes that a few more people see it and decide to donate too. That’s it. The credit belongs to the people at Railside who are actually putting this event together and doing the work.

😂 Disclaimer: Before anyone asks… no, I did not wrap an entire house in plastic like this. I just thought the photo was too funny not to share.

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from Little Bo’s Painting Company! 🇺🇸

This is an old photo from the day I graduated Army Basic Training with my grandfather.

He served in the United States Air Force for nearly three decades and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. Growing up, he was one of the people I looked up to most.

As a kid, I was always asking questions—how things worked, why they worked that way, and how they could be done better. No matter what I wanted to know, he always had the patience to teach me. Whether we were talking about military service, history, engineering, or life in general, he never seemed to run out of time for a curious grandson.

More than anything, he taught me the value of attention to detail, precision, taking pride in your work, and showing up every day ready to do your best. Those lessons have stayed with me throughout my life—from my time serving in the Army to the way I run my business today.

I’m incredibly grateful for his example, for the opportunity to have served this country myself, and for the freedom and opportunities we enjoy every day.

For years, I’ve made the same joke with homeowners during estimates…

“So… we’re going hot pink, right?” 😂

In all my years of painting, nobody had ever taken me up on it… until this project. 😬

When I showed up for the first day of prep, the homeowners had color samples all over the walls while making their final selections. I walked into one of the bedrooms and couldn’t help but laugh—there it was. Pink. After all these years, I finally got to paint a pink room!🙌💅

The entire upstairs came together beautifully with a mix of bold, modern colors that gave each room its own personality. Every home doesn’t have to be white and gray to look incredible.🤌🏼✨

Another happy homeowner and another home ready for the market. 😃

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to help a military family in Bellevue prepare their home for sale as they headed into retirement and their next chapter. We completed a full interior refresh with freshly painted walls, trim, and doors, giving the home a clean, modern feel before listing. 🇺🇸 🎉

• Exterior doors: Sherwin-Williams Peppercorn
