Our crews do such a great job, there is too much work and not enough help. Larry Peterson, the owner, and Brennan, framing superintendent, are excited and ready to hire and train new crew members. Over half of the crew members have been with the company for 7-10+ years after starting the business in 2010. Our crews need help, and are looking for great people they can teach and work along side with.
Experience:
Frame Carpentry: 1 year (Required)
Job Functions Include:
-Precisely measure, cut, and assemble the framing lumber needed to build residential and commercial buildings
-Setting steel and wood beams
-Setting floor and roof trusses
-Sheeting roofs
Skills/Abilities:
-Lift and carry heavy objects including lumber, sheets of plywood, and other heavy objects
-Understand math functions and calculations involving fractions
-Communicate and work with others
-Listen and follow direction
-Ability to solve problems
-Ability to work at taller heights with proper safety equipment
Things to Look Forward to:
-Competitive Pay: hourly wages range from $20 + (Dependent on work experience)
-Year-Long full-time work (we haven’t had downtimes or layoffs since we started)
-Great Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00a.m.-4:00p.m. with optional weekend hours (changes with daylight hours) 8.5 hr days, overtime after 40hrs per week.
