In the U.S., 8.7 million adults ages 18–64 report blindness or serious difficulty seeing, even with glasses. Yet only 43% are employed, often because workplaces lack the resources to support them. (VisionServe Alliance)

Outlook Nebraska is changing that by creating a workplace where blind and visually impaired associates can truly thrive. Because when people are empowered with the right tools and support, growth, purpose, and community take shape together.

If you or someone you know is blind or visually impaired, we’d love to connect and share more about the employment opportunities and community we’re building. 👉 https://hubs.li/Q04gN-8_0

A little mystery, a lot of fun, and a night to remember 🔍✨

Last Saturday, our Murder Mystery Dinner Theater transported guests back to 1925 Chicago for an interactive evening at a lively speakeasy, Calumet Social Club, where everyone was kept guessing whodunit!

We had a great turnout and loved seeing everyone team up, compare theories, and work together to solve the mystery!

Outlook Nebraska congratulates the American Council of the Blind of Nebraska on an incredible milestone, 50 years of advocacy and impact for blind and visually impaired individuals across the state.

We’re proud to serve as a Diamond Sponsor for their 2026 Annual Convention on April 17–18, 2026. In celebration of this milestone, our President & CEO, Eric Stueckrath, was recently interviewed to share more about our history and how we continue to make a lasting difference within the BVI community through employment initiatives and community-based programs provided by Outlook Enrichment.

Help us congratulate Ben Micek on two incredible decades with our amazing partner Outlook Nebraska! 🌟

He just celebrated 25 years at Outlook Nebraska recently and is now also part of National Industries for the Blind’s Advocates for Leadership and Employment Program. He also had the opportunity to share his story on Capitol Hill before representatives at the NIB/NAEPB 2026 Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C., last month, as part of his commitment to the program.

Every day, many of our associates rely on accessible transportation to get to work, run errands, and stay connected to their loved ones. While some use ride-sharing services or rely on family members, many depend on local transit to help them get where they need to go. 🚍

In recognition of National Transit Employee Appreciation Day, we wanted to show our gratitude to the drivers who play such an important role in the Outlook community. These drivers ensure our associates arrive safely at their destination and are often familiar, friendly faces in their day-to-day.

To say thank you, we dropped off goodie bags at the La Vista/Ralston and MOBY bus headquarters as a small token of our appreciation.
