Did you ever wonder what it takes to turn raw materials into a sophisticated piece of equipment? That's manufacturing. And it's pretty incredible when you stop to think about it.

Behind every machine are people designing, machining, fabricating, assembling, wiring, testing and solving problems along the way. Different skills, different backgrounds, all coming together to build something that didn't exist before.

That's the side of manufacturing we wish more people got to see.

So, in honor of Manufacturing Month, here's a look inside EMT. The equipment, the people and a little of what makes us who we are.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, John Pecoraro.

John brought a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to EMT, but what we'll remember most is the person behind it all. He was genuinely kind, thoughtful, and generous with his encouragement. He had a way of making people feel appreciated, and his warmth and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on those around him.

Outside of work, John's greatest joy was his family. He loved spending time at his cabin in Northern Minnesota, hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.

We are grateful for the time we shared with John and the opportunity to call him our colleague and friend. Our hearts go out to his wife Ann, their children and grandchildren, and everyone who knew and loved him.

John will be deeply missed.

𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗦𝟭 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

PRINTING United started on a high note with ANRO officially placing an order for a Vira CS1 cut-to-stack line.

Throughout the show, we put the CS1’s flexibility on display, running a range of applications and showing just how quickly it can move from one job to the next. And now, the same CS1 we demonstrated throughout the week in Las Vegas is headed to its new home at ANRO in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Thanks to the ANRO team for putting their trust in EMT. We’re looking forward to seeing the CS1 get to work in their operation.

Vegas, you kept us busy. And judging by the smiles, we had a pretty good time.

Three days of conversations, live demos, new connections, one very busy Vira CS1 Cutter & Stacker, a SOLD sign, and more LEGO minifigures than we could possibly count.

Printing United 2026 gave us plenty to smile about. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth to talk applications, see what we’ve been working on, and have a little fun with us along the way.

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a big difference in production.

At PRINTING United, David Hintz gives us a quick look at Stat RX and how a light surface coating can help sheets separate more cleanly after cutting and stacking.

The result? Fewer double feeds and smoother operation when those sheets move on to downstream finishing equipment.

She’s making her debut at Printing United next week, alongside the machine that inspired her: the Vira CS1 Cutter & Stacker.
