If summer had an opening day, this felt like it. 😎

Yesterday we hosted our first employee cookout of the season with plenty of sunshine, good food, and a little surprise for our team.

To celebrate America's 250th birthday, every employee received a commemorative shirt featuring a flag design inspired by the technologies we build every day. The stars are based on a real punch pattern used in EMT applications, while the stripes draw inspiration from perforation patterns.

It was a fun way to celebrate both the people behind our products and something we're proud of every day — designing and building finishing solutions right here in the USA.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize the event and make it a great afternoon!

That’s a wrap on Finishing 360 — and what a great event!

This was EMT’s first invitation to participate, and the response exceeded expectations. It was a great couple of days connecting with printers, partners, and industry peers while showcasing the latest in integrated finishing solutions.

A big thank you to the EMT team who represented us at the event: Jordan Geurts, Steve Best, Mike Herold, and Dean Askin.

We were proud to be part of the event alongside the teams at Standard and Horizon, highlighting solutions including our new Vira cutter and creasing technology in live production environments.

We recently rolled out our first employee shirts as part of our new brand — and we wanted them to be more than just a logo.

The goal was simple: create something that reflects who we are, where we’re from, and the pride we take in what we do every day.

From panel conversations to small group sessions, one thing is clear — finishing isn’t standing alone anymore. It has to work as part of a bigger, integrated solution.

Mike Herold joined a panel focused on finishing, sharing perspective on where things are headed and what it takes to keep up. And the rest of our team walked through real-world case studies in small groups — showing how the right pieces come together when speed, substrate, and complexity all collide.
