DJ’s Roofing found a new favorite roofing underlayment in VaproShield’s BlockShield SA which was lighter and easier to install than any other membrane they had used. They commented on how durable it was when walking on it, and how easy it was to cut to size for all 6 garages in this Northern Idaho lakefront community in Sandpoint, ID.

We enjoyed working with on the Santa Monica City College Allied Health Center project. Over 23,000 sq.ft. of under the Meteon panels and fiber-cement siding. The Design Team wanted to use the Trespa panels in different angles to reflect light but since the project is over 40’ above ground, a tested and approved NFPA-285 fire-assembly is required, and any variable wall cavity behind the panels that had not been previously tested would have required a new fire-test, so the design team chose to use some gloss panels and some satin panels to reflect light at different times of the day to give a unique look, in a standard attachment system that had already passed the required fire-testing. Congrats to Sheet Metal for a beautiful installation and to for a project they will be proud of for years.

Congrats to Andmore Partners Architects and for a beautiful project in Culver City. They used Trespa Meteon Large Panel Design for a maintenance-free facade with excellent resistance against color-fading. And the VaproShield UV stable Water-Barrier behind the panels is an excellent water barrier for any open joint façade system since it can hold up so well to the sun exposure for months before the panels get installed.

Congrats to The Knowlton Group Architects and for another beautiful project in Manhattan Beach. They used Trespa Meteon Siding with the Wall Panel Systems, Inc. Siding Clip System for a maintenance-free facade that would not fade or deteriorate in the harsh sunlight and moist foggy air. The ability to align the planks with tops and bottoms of windows was important. And the VaproShield UV stable Water-Barrier behind the panels was easy to install and held up to the sun exposure for months before the panels were installed.

DLR Group designed a beautiful project at Santa Monica City College Performing Arts Center with Trespa Meteon panels in various angles for a stunning effect. VaproShield’s RevealShield SA was used behind the open-joint façade panels and the WrapShield SA was used as the water & air barrier behind the ACM metal panels. Thanks to Crowner Sheet Metal for mastering a difficult installation.

LPA Design Studios has designed another beautiful project at West Hollywood Park Aquatic, Rec Center, Gym and Community Room with VaproShield’s SlopeShield Plus SA as the perfect water & air barrier behind for the almost flat areas at the deep window shelves under the metal façade panels. SlopeShield Plus SA is a heavy-duty roofing membrane that is slip-resistant & was easy to install & held up to the sun exposure for months before the panels were installed. Thanks to Schmitt Contracting for another quality installation.

We enjoyed working with Powell Dudley Frith Architects on the Paul Mitchell Tampa relocation of The School where they used Moxie Surfaces Clear PEP UV Satin Blue panels at the entry in the Tampa Town Center Mall.

LC Fisher Architecture, Inc. designed another beautiful project in Del Mar, Calif using Trespa Meteon Siding with the Wall Panel Systems, Inc. Siding Clip System and breathable water barrier by VaproShield to avoid mold and mildew. The Architect had used Trespa and VaproShield on several projects in the past and decided to use large siding sizes to align with window and door heads, and also to use miters at the outside corners, which is possible with the WPS Siding Clip system. The Home Owner is once again working with the same Architect to build an addition and they are going with the same system because it has held up so well for the last few years.

Moxie Surfaces “Stage” panels were used as the front door entry at this beautiful home overlooking the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena. Great design by Warren Techentin Architecture - WTARCH where they wanted to allow light through the Moxie panels into the basement playroom below, and at night they can illuminate the entry deck with lighting from below. The Moxie Surfaces Clear-PEP Stage panels are light-weight yet strong enough to walk on, are hard to scratch and will not crack or break like glass.

It was great working with Gensler LA on this 5th project at Biola University with Trespa Meteon panels. This application used the Wall Panel Systems concealed fastener system with the panels cut into diamond shapes with wide score lines and perforations to create a beautiful design for the students to walk under at the Eagle’s Nest Café & Student Center.
