Erasing old computer hard drives. Cold day activity. Used RUFUS to make a bootable USB drive then loaded the DBAN iso file using RUFUS. Darik’s Boot and Nuke (DBAN) did the rest of the work making 3 passes to overwrite the data. Rebooting hit ESC key to change boot sequence to boot off USB drive first. Copied some old files off to a USB drive I wanted to keep from one computer. A fourth computer didn’t have the option to boot off a USB drive, but I had already taken its hard drive out and smashed with a sledge hammer. 💥‼️ Recycle options.
