The Salvation Army Long Beach Corps 19th Annual Golf Tournament "Golf For Good!"

Fourth of July is upon us and while we are certainly entertaining the thought of grilling some steaks over hot mesquite and beating the heat with something ice cold and refreshing, we are also getting things done!

We currently have a crew of guys working on a project taking place at the University of Southern California (USC). They are building out a new partition with 3 5/8" 18 Gage Studs framed to 6" above Grid with kickers ever 4'. The framing will be covered with 5/8" Gypsum board with all cleaning and retrofitting as needed per job requirements. Ultimately, all new walls will be prepped, primed and painted to our exacting and expected standards.

We also other various crews working on several Bank of America bank buildings throughout the Los Angeles area. One of these projects includes installing temporary wall systems to be built to existing ceiling and secured overhead. Customer facing wall side will be covered with 5/8" gypsum with 1 double door and frame plus all necessary hardware.

Furthermore, we have crews working hard in the San Diego area doing some finish drywall work.

All this, while we are still doing work on our very own and NEW headquarters located at 1927 North Glassell Street, Orange California, 92865.

Meet The Women of Meyer Construction Services

Just like the Fathers, Brothers, Sons, Grandfathers, Grandsons and Uncles of this great company, there are also the strong women that stand behind, beside and in front of them, inspiring, encouraging and in some cases also leading he charge.

Throughout history there have been many women who have made a difference both big and small. In most cases these women did not expect any recognition, for they simply gave of themselves knowing it was the right thing to do.

These inspiring women have included Rosa Parks, Marie Curie, Emmeline Pankhurst, Ada Lovelace, Rosalind Franklin, Margaret Thatcher, Florence Nightingale, Marie Stopes, Jane Austen, Amelia Earhart, Queen Victoria, Josephine Butler, Mother Teresa, Catherine the Great, Cleopatra, Betsy Ross, and the Virgin Mary.

The list goes on, extending into the present day and includes our Mothers, Grandmothers, Daughters, Sisters, Nieces, Wives, and even Girlfriends. All of their selfless acts continue to encourage and inspire us to be better and do better and can also serve as lasting examples of goodness for all humanity to follow.

Happy Father's Day from our Family of Fathers, Sons, Grandfathers, and Grandsons, all of whom are either already fathers themselves, or someday will be.

Being a great Father is more than just catching a ball, but even that simple act can play a big role in how your son grows up to be a father himself someday. He will always need your guidance because you are always going to be his "go-to" hero and the man he looks up to and aspires to become.

Set an example you can both admire and hence make a lasting and positive impact in each others lives.

Here at Meyer Constructions Services we demonstrate our pride everyday in everything we do.

This shows in our enthusiasm and respect, and sometimes yes, even through our willingness to laugh even at ourselves. Take for example our company founder and COO of the company, Scott Meyer. He willingly had the company logo painted to his forehead.

Dear Friends, Family and all Acquaintances,

Meyer Construction Services is proud of all of you who have helped make us who we are today. We are nobody without people like you and we appreciate all that you do on a daily basis.

This month we celebrated the opening of our new location at 1927 N. Glassell Street, Orange, CA 92865.

We are in the process of making upgrades to our new space, while still servicing our clients and are also making great strides in our social media efforts. This includes aiding all interested personnel in the creation of their very own professional LinkedIn account.

It's that time of the year when we celebrate our achievements of the past twelve months and prepare for the new challenges in the year to come. We also take time to acknowledge those who helped us meet our goals and took part in our success and continued growth.

For many years now It has been our tradition here are Meyer Construction Services to give all of our employees their well deserved recognition for all their hard work.

This is achieved not only through congrats and applause, but also in a demonstration of our collective care for one another. We are all a part of a family here and its important that we are grow together and hence share in the fruits of our labor.

We take the time to distribute recognition awards, including Employee of the Year and Rookie of the Year. Both of which include a plaque and a check. We also distribute bonuses, which because they are an accumulation of the past twelve months can in some cases be quite substantial.

Finally, as has been a long standing tradition here at Meyer Construction Services, we also like to give something special to all of our hard working "trades" staff members. When we were just a paint company, it made sense to give everyone a paint bucket filled with tools of that trade. Well, we are so much more now so paint supplies like brushes and pants just aren't enough. So, this year for the first time, we are starting a new annual tradition and are now supplying all of our paint, construction and cleaning crews brand new Red Wing Boots. This will be a standard to the uniform we already provide and will help to foster pride and safety.

Safety is a constant critical component that is always in the forefront of out minds and something we take very seriously here at Meyer Construction Services. It is something we deal with on a daily basis with every job, every client, every staff and every crew member.

Because, If You Don't Work Safe, You Can't Be Safe!
