Designed for municipal wastewater systems, Perfect Pipe combines traditional reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) with a durable HDPE liner to safeguard against corrosion. An integrated internal coupler eliminates the need for field welding, simplifying installation while providing an infiltration resistant watertight seal. Merging the proven strength of concrete with the resilience of synthetic lining materials, Perfect Pipe delivers dependable performance as both a structure and a conduit.

Roadway expansion requires the infrastructure below ground to keep pace with the improvements above it.

As part of the Merrill Road Widening and Utilities Project in St. George, Utah, NWPX Geneva supplied the stormwater and sanitary sewer precast needed to support the expansion of Merrill Road from two lanes to five.

The project includes a dual 1,200-foot storm drain system constructed with 2,400 LF of 54-inch Class III RCP—300 individual 8-foot pipe sections—along with five 14' × 7' precast storm drain vaults and five sanitary sewer manholes.

Meeting the project schedule required coordination across two NWPX Geneva facilities. The RCP was produced using the automated dry cast system at our Salt Lake City plant, while the vaults and manholes were manufactured locally in St. George. Our Southern Utah team worked closely with the Cities of St. George and Washington, Bowen Collins & Associates, and Suncore to coordinate production and delivery as installation progressed along the corridor.

The result is expanded stormwater and wastewater infrastructure designed to support current needs and continued development in this growing area of Southern Utah.

What do concrete corrosion and burping have in common? More than you might expect.

As wastewater moves closer to a treatment plant, trapped gases can suddenly surge through the collection system, a phenomenon known as “burping.” Combined with minimal elevation change, these conditions can increase the potential for hydrogen sulfide-related concrete corrosion.

That was the challenge facing the Wavetronix global headquarters development in Springville, Utah. Located approximately two miles upstream from the Springville WWTP, the sanitary sewer system was experiencing burping and an increased risk of microbiologically influenced concrete corrosion (MICC). As a result, the City required corrosion-resistant manholes throughout the site.

To meet this requirement, NWPX Geneva supplied six 60-inch-diameter Perfect Lined Manholes, ranging from 3 to 6.3 feet deep, with connections for 8-inch SDR-35 PVC sanitary sewer pipe. Each Perfect Lined Manhole combines an acid-resistant, mechanically embedded protective liner with reinforced precast concrete, providing permanent corrosion protection and the structural strength required for traffic loading in the parking lot above. Gasketed joints provide watertight connections throughout the system.

Power and communication infrastructure demands durable solutions built for safety, reliability, and long-term performance.

NWPX dry utility vaults are made to local utility specifications or municipal standards, and designed to meet NEC/CEC requirements for electric equipment enclosures. Our precast structures can be tailored to accommodate project-specific equipment, utility layouts, and access requirements. This flexibility makes them well suited for substations, data centers, renewable energy installations, campus complexes, and other underground power and communication applications.

Multiple PacifiCorp-approved configurations are available to help simplify design and approval in Rocky Mountain Power and Pacific Power service areas.

Heavy equipment cleaning can generates wash water loaded with sand, grit, oil, and other contaminants. At this phosphate mining and manufacturing facility in Soda Springs, Idaho, a multi-stage treatment system helps clean and recirculate that water.

NWPX Park supplied five packaged wastewater systems for the Caldwell Canyon project, including a 5,000-gallon Sand-Mud Interceptor, two Oil-Water Separators, and two Pump Lift Stations. Together, four of the units form the treatment train for the facility’s wash bay reclaim system—removing sand and grit, separating oil, and recirculating water for reuse.

The precast structures were manufactured at our Utah facilities, outfitted with NWPX Park mechanical components, shop tested, and delivered to the jobsite ready for connection.
