All residents will be receiving a letter, but we wanted to get the following message out ASAP:
We understand that everyone is making many sacrifices during this time and people may have some difficult circumstances in the near future. Helping family and neighbors is a necessary step toward getting us through the challenges ahead of all of us.
For the month of April, the owners of all communities operated by Greenlawn have agreed to reduce the monthly lot rent by one-half. Please note that any other charges that may have been added onto your rent are not affected (e.g. water bills, service calls, fines, etc.).
Please understand that our communities have not been granted any relief from our financial obligations. Also, we must continue to pay our employees so that we can maintain the communities as well as continue to service them. If you have already paid April rent, we will credit your account for May. Both Greenlawn and the community owners will continue to monitor the situation as events unfold. In the event that government or monetary policy affects this action, we will provide additional communication to you.
We sincerely hope that these proactive steps will provide some relief with the potential difficulties you may face.
