Division 10 Project Estimator
Our established Specialties Construction Firm is growing! We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction estimating and project management, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience. This is the perfect opportunity to build a career at a leading Division 10 Specialties Subcontractor firm.
Position Duties are as follows:
• Understand scope of work to bid
• Prepare estimates in detail for all products
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Manage bid pricing from all vendors
• Review and evaluate cost estimates
• Prepare cost analysis
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors
• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects

Education, Skills, Abilities
• 3+ years’ experience in construction estimating
• Associates Degree or Higher
• Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
• Strong understanding of Commercial Construction processes
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Impeccable problem-solving skills

This role installs Specialties (Division 10) materials on commercial construction sites. A few of these products include; Toilet Partitions, Wall/Corner Guards, Wall Protection, Mirrors, Grab Bars, Paper Towel Dispensers, Changing Stations, Safes, Lockers, Fire Extinguishers and Cabinets. Candidate must know how to use drills, levels, misc. power tools, and be able to read a tape measure & level.

We are currently seeking applicants with carpentry skills and a keen eye for detail.

Applicants having experience working with any of the products listed above are strongly urged to apply.

Construction Experience is REQUIRED.

Candidates MUST have reliable transportation and be able to work 40 hours per week on active jobsites in non-airconditioned areas.

Working overtime and an occasional weekend may also be required.
