Orlando-Based Company Wins Contract for a Retail Project in the Mills 50 District


ORLANDO, FL, October 25 2022 – DL Harkins Construction LLC (DLHC) has just broke ground on a new unique retail plaza in the Mills 50 district located at 719-723 Mills Avenue in Orlando. The project consists of two retail buildings totaling 7,337 SF with an outdoor seating covered by an open-air trellis for customers to eat and relax.
The exterior shell of the building will be block, with steel for the roof along with storefront glass system. One of the buildings has a sloped roof with high glass for the clerestory to provide a very nice Architectural feature. The project team consists of Landscape Architect Ecotone Land design, Civil Engineering by Lam Civil Engineering, and Studio 407 is the Project Architect.
