As temperatures rise, bee and wasp activity increases around jobsites. Before you begin work, take a moment to inspect your surroundings for nests and insect activity—especially around equipment, structures, and material storage areas.

A little awareness can prevent painful stings and serious allergic reactions. If you're stung and experience difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or other signs of a severe allergic reaction, call 911 immediately.
