Locksmith wanted!
We are looking for someone who has had experience with locksmith and repar work previously also someone who is dedicated to learn the trade! We are willing to train you more if you have a little experience, but we are looking for someone who has real interest in this trade and wanting to make a career out of it. We ask that you take pride in your work and pride in your appearance. Understand that we also do more than just rekeys and make keys, we do door installations with all the hardware and access control jobs.
Responsibilities:
· When not working on the road you will be in the shop helping to keep it organized and attend to walk in customers in the shop so must have strong customer service skills, also must show that you can handle being on the road jobs while being trained.
· Understand that you will be driving all over the central Florida, so a valid license is required.
· Understand we are DRUG free zone, and we may subject to drug test at the discretion of the employers.
We need technicians that are detailed oriented and take pride in doing a good job, we ask you to take in as much information and knowledge as possible so that way you can inform costumers of information that is beneficial to help them with their locksmith needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School graduate or GED
• Must be able to life 50lbs
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must have transportation to and from work
• Previous experience in locksmith, if not we will train you as long as you are willing to learn and are dedicated to working with us.
• Must be able to be mechanically inclined
• Able to run wire
On Job Training:
• Cut keys
• Fix locks if costumer brings into shop
• To work on safes such as, swapping out keypad, change combo, change out lock.
• Running wire and installation of basic keypad and access control systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Basic locksmith experience
• Safe knowledge
• Experience with maglocks
• Access control experience
• Low Voltage certification
• Networking experience for safes and access control
