Government-issued glow up 🚀

I got my official NASA portrait yesterday.

There’s something powerful about being formally documented in institutions that weren’t always built with you in mind.

Visibility is infrastructure.
Access is policy.
Representation is engineering.
Engineered with sazón.

We celebrate innovation and advancing humanity beyond Earth but what does progress mean if we stay silent about the lack of it here on Earth?

Watching what’s happening with 🧊 and the lack of accountability from our own government makes me angry.

But what I’m struggling with the most is the silence of influencers, science communicators, and communities with big platforms.

If we can advocate for humanity in orbit, we can’t ignore humanity on the ground. Silence doesn’t feel like progress!d ms

I had the chance to sit down with Dr. Peggy Whitson to talk about the real impact of the International Space Station, from advancing science and engineering to shaping the future of the commercial space industry.

The ISS wasn’t just a lab in orbit. It was a testbed for international collaboration, human spaceflight operations, and the foundation for what comes next in low Earth orbit.

As we transition into a new commercial era of space, the lessons learned on the ISS are directly influencing how we design, operate, and sustain future stations.

This is how space history turns into space infrastructure. 🌍➡️🛰️

Can’t believe it’s been about a month since we launched our merry mission to Mars onboard the rocket I worked on when I moved to the Space Industry. It was such a surreal moment for me, and especially for our team who worked so hard to make this happen!

Enjoy some pictures of our ESCAPADE team on-console at the Blue Origin Mission Control center. The last one had our lucky mascot that helped us launch on 11/13 🦅

Excited to be heading to the SciTech Forum this upcoming January!

Last year was my first time at SciTech, and I loved it so much that I’m coming back again this year. I’ll also be part of SciTech and be a participant in a fireside chat regarding my career thus far in Aerospace, as well as how to build a brand in a social media world!

So if you plan to attend SciTech this year, let me know in the comments. And if you’re thinking about getting your tickets,
All I can say is-Do it! The amount of networking, knowledge, and just overall fun you’ll have is unmatched.

Hope to see you all there 🤩

Launch Day!

This has been a mission for the books. Brand new Spacecraft manufacturer () and a brand new launch vehicle to NASA (). So incredibly honored to have worked Blue Origin’s first NASA mission on New Glenn because New Glenn was the rocket I worked on when I worked for Blue. It’s a true full circle moment and I couldn’t be more excited!

All we have left is to SEND IT! Go ESCAPADE! Go New Glenn! Go NASA 🚀

Summer 2025 Recap ☀️

From launching science missions into space () to inspiring the next generation of space explorers with and everything in between.

In the midst of all this chaos, I want to try and see the light in the darkness. But don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be fighting and vocal through these turbulent times….you can catch me at rallies this fall 💁🏽‍♀️🪧

I had the incredible opportunity this past summer to be part of the Oxnard Space Camp with and some amazing individuals to inspire the next generation of space enthusiasts.

As you all know, outreach is near and dear to my heart. Combine that with being able to share and teach about space and the missions I’m working on to a predominantly Hispanic community made my heart complete. The pure joy I saw as I talked about science missions and launching rockets was something that I thoroughly enjoyed. And to speak to the kids and answer questions in both English and Spanish, especially in the environment we are in, forever changed my brain chemistry.

Events like these is the reason I like to share my story (good and bad) online. It’s just for the hope that if I can inspire just one person or make someone feel like they belong in this space, it’s all worth it.

Thank you to for inviting me to be part of this camp. The memories made with the kids and the incredible will remain in my heart fondly.
