It's that time of year! Our GPI Geospatial team members touch down in Denver, Colorado, this Sunday, February 9th, for Geo Week 2025! Mike Zoltek will be a panelist with ASPRS for The Importance of Professional Certification in the Geospatial Community discussion panel on Wednesday, February 12th at 11:00 AM. As a reminder, we will also be sponsoring the ASPRS workshop for Practical Approach to Using the ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards for Digital Geospatial Data on Monday, February 10th from 8am to 12pm. Be sure to register for this workshop to get an in-depth look at the 2nd Edition of the ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards. We are pleased to announce that the Georgia Department of Transportation selected GPI Geospatial first overall for its on-call IDIQ contract to provide Aerial Photography, Lidar, and Surveying Services! This is a three-year contract with the option to extend the contract for up to 5 years. It encompasses a range of services, including aerial imagery and lidar acquisition, photogrammetric mapping, special surveys, staking, boundary surveys, and imagery-only flights. We are grateful for our teaming partners and tremendous staff, who have worked hard to provide high-quality geospatial consulting services to GDOT over the past nine years. We look forward to continuing to serve GDOT and its Location Services Bureau on this significant contract!
