The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) officially finalized a revision to the AIM Act's Technology Transitions Rule that completely removes the January 1, 2026 installation deadline for pre-existing residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. You can get more information about it here:

EPA finalized revisions to the TT Rule, easing several refrigerant deadlines and expanding compliance flexibility for several HVACR sectors.
