THROWBACK THURSDAY: Back in 1981, Ernie Green and Sam Morgan founded Ernie Green Industries and incorporated the company in Dayton, OH. At the time, General Motors realized it cost them more to produce steel inserts for engine and transmission mounts internally and decided to outsource manufacturing. They turned to EG Industries, and what was then GM’s Inland Division became EG Industries’ first customer. Associates at our Circleville, Ohio manufacturing facility adopted a portion of Orr Road recently to help protect the environment and serve the community. They plan to get together with other volunteers twice a year to do clean-up and we’re proud to support them by providing the trash pick up tools they need.
