Good morning! If you have liked our new page please stop by the Women in Mining Idaho Chapter booth in Gene Day park today before 330pm to pick a basket for your free raffle ticket! If you are unable to attend message WIM-ID Facebook with your name, phone number, and which Basket you wish to enter in. Join us this evening from 4-7 at the Osburn Club for the Coeur D'Alene District Mining Competition Registration! Events are $20 an event and $40 for team drill. Sign-ups will also be permitted day of until 9am for all around miner competitors and special allowances will be made for late sign ups on jackleg and team drill. We'll see you all there!

To all our local young adults starting or enrolled in college or trade school join us at Gene Day Park August 2nd for a chance to win a scholarship!
This year we plan to give away 3 Lavon Fausett Memorial scholarships valued at $500, $400 and $300. Criteria is simple! You must have a family member from the valley that is competing or from the silver valley, enrolled in college or trade school, and must be present at the time of drawing which happens at the end of the day after all events are over. We hope to see you there! Please share with our next generation if you know someone who deserves this opportunity.

The mining competition is August 2nd! We hope to see you in Gene Day park from 8am to 4pm. The mining competition registration will be held at the Osburn Club from 4-7pm on August 1st. Sign ups will also be available on site the morning of the event.

The Coeur d’Alene District Mining Competition is coming up fast! 🛠️ Come watch (or compete in!) a full day of mining skill, teamwork, and tradition. Competitions start at 8am on August 2nd!
