Maintenance Tech Summary (NOW HIRING)

Within the organizational structure, the Maintenance Person will be responsible for the following areas.
1.) Safety; 2.)Plant Maintenance; and 3) Quality.

The specific responsibilities and accountabilities are summarized as follows:

1) Safety

· Maintenance Person will maintain equipment and work space in a safe manner in keeping with Standard Good Housekeeping Practices. Under OSHA 1910.22(a)

· Unsafe conditions are to be immediately remedied or Management of unsafe conditions immediately.

· Be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs frequently-- ergonomically correct.

2) Plant Maintenance

· Maintenance Person is responsible for:

o PM requirements to keep machines operating efficiently

o Basic knowledge of machine operation

o Troubleshooting Electrical, Mechanical and minor Operational issues

· Physical aspects of Maintenance include:

o Repeated bending or twisting

o Repeated hand/wrist motion

o Long periods of standing and/or walking (8 to 10 hours)

3) Quality

Maintenance work done on equipment to maintain/improve overall product quality.

Leaving repaired equipment in a condition that does not create a quality concern.

Shifts:
1st- Monday through Thursday 6am to 4pm Friday 6am to 2pm
2nd-Monday through Thursday 4pm to 2am Friday 2pm to 10pm

We are hiring a Production Team Member to join our team! We are hiring for 2nd shift machine operators and assistants. We work a 48 hour work week.

2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am (10 hours) Friday 2pm-10pm (8 hours)

Responsibilities:

Adhere to safety policies and procedures

Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment

Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion

Qualifications:

Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields

Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Packaging experience

Operating experience preferred

Swanson Wiper Corporation is a contract paper converter located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

We are currently looking for an individual to supervise our second shift production crew.

The shift hours are:

M-TH {4p-2a}

F {2p-10p}

Responsibilities include:

Promoting a safe work environment
Ensuring the quality of products manufactured
Leading by example and fostering a positive work culture
Leading shift start meetings
Communicating crews needs and desires to management
Drive production numbers
Material handle: forklift, roll clamp, and box clamp as needed
Load/Unload trucks: occasionally
We can train industry specific skills, but the ability to lead and material handle is essential.
