There’s an old-school way of doing business that we still believe in at Pine River.

Sand & gravel pits, trucking companies, excavating, mechanics—we may compete for some of the same work, but at the end of the day, we’re all trying to keep trucks moving, material on the ground and people working.

Sometimes that means hauling for another company. Sometimes it means sending a customer somewhere else because they have what they need. Sometimes it’s sharing equipment, making a phone call, lending a hand or opening up your own shop when somebody’s in a bind.

When one of our customers needed a hand, our in-house mechanic came in on his day off, pulled their truck into our shop and got to work. No recognition needed—just helping someone out because that’s what you do.

It wasn’t our truck. It wasn’t our breakdown. But when you can help somebody keep moving, you do.

Compete when it’s time to compete. Work together when it matters.

That’s the old-school mentality we want to keep alive at Pine River.
