ANCWT at the Bridging Divides Connections Lab 2026.
We were proud to represent at the Connections Lab hosted by Toronto Metropolitan University.
What stood out most was the real expression of diversity in the room, especially seeing immigrant voices represented across academia, research, and practice. The level of openness and cross-sector collaboration made the dialogue both honest and impactful.
A key takeaway for us: while there is strong understanding of the challenges, there is still an opportunity to better connect these insights to real, lived outcomes.
At ANCWT, we were glad to contribute our perspective from working closely with immigrant women in STEM, and we see strong potential for future collaboration as a community partner in this space.
Thank you to the Migrant Integration in the Mid-21st Century: Bridging Divides team at Toronto Metropolitan University for creating such a meaningful platform, and being such warm and wonderful hosts. We look forward to what comes next.
Greatful for all the new connections we could make.
