The Don & Dee Pettengill Student Wellness Center is officially taking shape!

It’s so exciting to see the vision become reality on our Ottumwa Main Campus. We can already picture the incredible space it will provide for student health, wellness, and connection.

As a reminder, when it’s completed in Summer 2026, the building will include:
🏓 Full-size multi-sport courts (basketball, pickleball, and volleyball)
🏋 Cardio and weight equipment
🛋 Comfortable lounge areas..and more!

We are deeply grateful to Don & Dee Pettengill, Community 1st Credit Union, Winger Companies, and to our communities who supported the Indian Hills Bond Referendum — this transformational addition simply wouldn’t be possible without your support.

Winger Companies is hiring for a Safety Coordinator Position in our Cargill Eddyville Facility.

As a safety coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. You will work closely with management and employees to promote a safe work environment.

This positions responsibilities and qualifications include, but not limited to:

• Conduct safety inspections.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain safety documentation and reports
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in safety coordination and relevant safety certification (OSHA 30) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
• Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical demands.
