Now Hiring: Safety Coordinator- Winger, Fort Dodge, IA

Winger companies is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of a Safety Coordinator based out of our Fort Dodge, IA office. This position requires strong construction workplace safety knowledge and employee/customer relation skills. This person will be required to travel to various jobsites to perform jobsite inspections and other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and enforce safety policies, procedures, and compliance with OSHA regulations
• Promote and re-enforce an injury free, “SAFETY FIRST” attitude and culture
• Ability to develop and nurture a positive, strong partnership with supervisors, foremen, employees and customers
• Provide a strong field presence and safety resource for the company, subcontractor, and customer personnel to identify safety hazards related to work and ensure that measures are put in place to control/mitigate them
• Know, understand and follow company safety programs, policies, and procedures

Education and/or other requirements
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in safety coordination, preferably in an industrial, construction, or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety best practices, and risk assessment procedures
• Relevant safety certifications (OSHA 30) preferred
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
