The Memorial Day weekend has come and gone. As a holiday, Memorial Day signals the start of BBQ’s, pool parties and summer fun in America.

But it is also a serious holiday. One that honors those who died while serving our country in the military.

We believe that one way to honor those who died while serving our country, is to make a point of remembering them – especially on Memorial Day!

Taking the time to show honor by remembering changes us, forcing us to slow down and think about things that are important – leading us to gratitude.

Westlark Advisors is grateful for those who sacrificed their lives and made it possible for us to enjoy this holiday in peace and safety. For those who served our country in the military, both past and present, we offer our heartfelt thanks.

⚡We’re starting a new series!⚡

Over the past two years, Westlark Advisors has posted three series about hedging. Our goal with these series is to help people better understand what hedging is and how it can be used to benefit your business.

The first series, Hedging 101, provided the basic building blocks of terms and concepts. Hedging 201 took things a little further, with ideas like forward curve structures and time spreads. Hedging 301 was all about financial options. Our latest series, Hedging 401, will explore the concept of spreads – what they are, what they mean, and how they are used in the marketplace.
