Soapstone ... such a beautiful stone with that warm, yet cool appearance and old world kind of charm! It’s nearly impervious to staining and heat, and it’s impenetrable surface reduces risk of bacterial growth. These tops are sure to add distinctive character as well as practicality to our client’s space.

Recently, our CEO, David Thomas, was interviewed by Paul Wiseman from the Associated Press in regards to how the antidumping and countervailing duties on Chinese quartz have leveled the playing field and created a high demand for our company's services.

Thank you to Mr. Wiseman and the Associated Press for reaching out to us for an interview and for bringing information to the public on just how much of an impact the sanctions on quartz imports is creating. We are proud to able to provide the commercial builders and developers, who are now struggling to find a source for their countertops, a quality product made and fabricated right here in America. Blackbird is blessed to be in this position and grateful to be able to expand our company and provide more jobs.
