According to the (Precision Machined Parts Association), 39 parts of life-saving ventilators are precision machined. As the pandemic unfolded around us globally, the PMPA was swift in distributing ventilator drawings and coordinating a rapid response effort to elevate the medical equipment supply chain, increasing the production of ventilators during this scary and unprecedented spike in demand for life-saving equipment.

J.I. Morris Miniature Fasteners (Division of PMPA-member company Swissturn USA) will continue operations supplying medical equipment until this crisis is controlled.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19

The health and safety of our employees and visitors is always a top priority for J.I. Morris Miniature Fasteners. Our management team is actively monitoring the Coronavirus outbreak, following the guidance and recommendations from the CDC and from federal, state and local agencies to ensure best practices are in place at our facility. We have communicated to all of our staff and made hand sanitizer stations readily available for visitors and employees throughout the facility. Additional cleaning measures have been put in place, with particular focus on common areas and high-touch surfaces. Our goal is to continue to provide the best possible service uninterruptedly, with health & safety in mind. We will continue to monitor the situation and work flexibly & diligently to ensure operations are carried out safely for our employees and our customers until the situation changes. Our precision-made miniature fasteners are manufactured in-house in the United States. Most threads are made using single-point threading on CNC Swiss screw machines or roll-formed. None of our fasteners are cold-headed. Cold heading is the process used to make inexpensive low-quality fasteners.
