Before You Dig: Notify OHIO811 by completing a notification through our mobile app, website or dialing 8-1-1 providing a detailed description of your dig site.

Wait the 48 hours: When you receive the email with your notification number, wait 48 hours* for utility companies to mark their underground lines. You will then receive a second email listing the response of each utility company notified.

Dig responsibly: When you have confirmed that all utility companies have listed a response, dig responsibly.
