This customer wanted to replace their old prefab fireplace with a new high-efficiency wood-burning unit without tearing out the entire stone wall. We carefully removed the old fireplace, modified the framing, installed the new unit, tied everything back together, and preserved the original stone and mantel.

The end result is a fireplace that not only looks great but will heat the home far better than the original ever did.

At Rebel Chimneys our favorite thing about what we do is our customers. Over the years we’ve developed some really deep and meaningful relationships with so many different people. We want to thank all of our customers, especially Mrs. York for choosing us to take care of her chimney and fireplace. She had some really nice things to say about her experience with the company and Neal Schiesske, we’re just glad she’s never had to work for him.

This fireplace was designed by Chris Prior who is an absolute legend, leader, and visionary in the chimney industry. This design improves upon a lot of flaws in contemporary chimney designs and we built it to stand the test of time.

It’s our goal to not only educate but to raise awareness about chimney and fireplace safety, and to give you guys a better perspective of just who we are and what we do as a company. Big shout out to Theatre & Film at the University of Mississippi for lending us some of their best students we definitely had a blast and look forward to doing this again.
