We're excited to support Camp Invention at West Washington School Corporation!

It's great to see students exploring science, engineering, creativity, and problem-solving while having fun along the way.

At AFP, we believe investing in schools means investing in the next generation of innovators, leaders, and community builders.

We can't wait to see what these students create this week!

"From a finance perspective, working with AFP was a great experience."
- Angie Taylor, Todd County Finance Officer

We’re proud to support Camp Invention at West Washington School Corporation and help make STEM enrichment opportunities accessible for local students this summer.

Programs like these give students the opportunity to explore creativity, problem-solving, innovation, and hands-on learning in exciting ways, and we’re grateful to play a small part in that experience.

A huge thank you to West Washington School for organizing this incredible program and to everyone helping invest in the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders.

On June 1st West Washington will host one full week of Camp Invention. The camp is a great opportunity for summer enrichment that includes a variety of STEM activities.

This camp would not be possible without the scholarships that are provided by community businesses and individuals.

We have always received generous support of smaller donations and we benefit from donations through the . This year we had two large donations that we felt deserved additional recognition.

Community member Andrew Burks and AFP each made large contributions to ensure that all kids interested were able to attend.

Thank you to all of our supporters both past and present.

Schools are some of the most important buildings in our communities. Across the region, many of them are aging rapidly.

AFP has been proud to work alongside Danville Schools on a campus-wide improvement project that included more than 25 upgrades across the district, including:
☀️ Solar PV installation
🔨 Building envelope improvements
❄️ HVAC and boiler upgrades
⚡ Facility efficiency improvements

All completed while keeping the school year moving forward with minimal disruption.

A big thank you to Triangle Heating & Cooling for serving as a key mechanical partner in bringing these projects to completion!

As AFP continues expanding partnerships with schools across the region, we’re excited to keep helping districts modernize facilities and prepare for the future.

More from this project coming soon!

Project update from the historic courthouse in Carrollton❗️

Work continues on the Carroll County courthouse restoration as crews push forward through a challenging spring weather season alongside the team at Trade31.

Recent progress includes:
🏫 Completion of the shingled portion of the courthouse roof
🛠️ Continued clock tower metal refurbishment and replacement
💧 Main courthouse guttering work
🪟 Window restoration efforts across the building

It’s exciting to watch this historic landmark continue taking shape and see the craftsmanship going into preserving such an important piece of Kentucky history.

Shoutout to Buildcam for the epic time-lapse footage!

More updates to come as restoration progresses!

We’re proud to partner with the The Kentucky City and County Management Association and are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside communities across Kentucky.

Helping local governments identify energy savings, improve facilities, and invest in long-term infrastructure solutions is work we care deeply about, and we’re thankful for partners like KCCMA who support that mission.

A special thank you as well to Todd County Treasurer Misty Carlock for the kind words and continued partnership.

Be sure to check out the full Todd County story below to see the impact these projects can have for Kentucky communities.

Every project starts with listening. When Todd County began feeling the strain of aging infrastructure and rising utility costs, much of the burden was coming...
