Weather Update:

We have a quiet morning until 1/2pm when the snow will start and continue into the evening. Most of the Chicagoland area and west of Chicago can expect 1-4 inches, with more southern areas of the city expecting 4-7 inches.

The snow will be falling during inconvenient times like during rush hour, so be cautious when traveling.

An update on the weather for today and tomorrow.

Chicago is expected to see high winds today, some rain later on, and then heavy snow heading into Thursday. The northern suburbs could see between 1-3inches while the city and southern areas will see 4-7in, possibly even 8 or 9 in of total snowfall.

Remember to bundle up and stay warm if you're going out. Leave extra time for your commute & any traveling you do. Stay safe!

Wednesday may feel spring-like with temperatures reaching into the 50s, but another winter storm is forecast to slam the area on Thursday.

Meteorologists are unsure what this week will bring to the Chicagoland area in regards to snowfall. Two models show two different outcomes.

The Global model shows most of the snow accumulation to be in Northern IL, focusing on the northern and western suburbs, while the southern areas would see small numbers. For the city, it's showing 12+ inches possible & 2-3in for southern suburbs.

The European model indicates the opposite of the Global, showing a less impactful snowfall for the northern and western suburbs, but areas in the far south would get hit hard. Southern areas could see 6-8in, while there would be small accumulations for the city.

Whichever model happens, Tricon Group is prepared to handle your property in any amount of snowfall.

The Chicago area is going to see a rapid warm-up in temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs reaching into the 50s by Wednesday, but that will be accompanied by a weather system that’s going to bring rain, sleet and eventually snow to the region.

Today, we had a Supervisor meeting to discuss the last snow storm. We are always looking to improve our service and make our work more efficient and effective. By meeting with our Supervisors, we can keep each other informed on important news and changes, solve problems together, ask/answer questions about issues before they happen, discuss feedback and critique, check in on progress or setbacks, and ultimately create a more cohesive team for future storms.

As I'm sure many of you in the Chicagoland area know, there will be snow coming! Some places are going to get light snow, while others can see up to 12 inches. Please be cautious and careful in the next couple days.

February is , which is an annual recognition of the history, incredible achievements, and heavy influence the Black community has had in the world.

Every year, there is a theme for this month, this year being focused on Black Health & Wellness. "This theme acknowledges the legacy of not only Black scholars and medical practitioners in Western medicine, but also other ways of knowing (e.g., birthworkers, doulas, midwives, naturopaths, herbalists, etc.) throughout the African Diaspora. The 2022 theme considers activities, rituals and initiatives that Black communities have done to be well." (https://lnkd.in/gQcPbja).

With a whole month dedicated to learning, understanding, and appreciating, we can continue to remember the past while shaping the future ahead of us.
