The next YPC event just dropped!

Join us for the launch of our new event series: Solar After Hours. The recurring networking events will provide casual networking happy hours where we can relax, build connections with industry peers and rising leaders, and keep up on the latest trends and topics.

Our first Solar After Hours event will be on Thursday, April 16 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at Franklin Tap!

Tickets are $5 for YPC members and $10 for nonmembers.

We are changing the location and format of the next YPC event! We're excited to announce that we will now kick off ISEA's Solar Drinks with an exclusive YPC-only happy hour at Jefferson Tap & Grille.

Join your fellow young professionals for a YPC-only pre-event to network and talk about what's next for the YPC. Then, stay for Solar Drinks with ISEA to keep the conversations going in a relaxed, after-hours gathering of solar professionals and contractors. What an inspirational week at RE+ Events Midwest. YPC members were all over the conference exploring the exhibitors, networking, and learning more about the latest industry trends, Illinois’ continued energy leadership and upward trajectory, market insights, and what’s to come in 2026. It was a very positive experience and the energy was upbeat.

This veto session, lawmakers have the opportunity to respond to this summer's record high electricity rates by passing the Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability (CRGA) Act. It is the only bill on the table that will lower energy prices in Illinois.
