Hello fellow recreational prospectors!

I am selling 3 Rock Crusher chambers and bases for DIY Prospectors. I ask you what would be a fair price before shipping?

I hope you are doing well and hope the Corona Virus doesn't affect you terribly.

I have been thinking about the costs for the Rock Crushers that most of you have seen with my photos. I have seen many online, Ebay, running about $1200-1500 with and without motors or small engines, PLUS Freight/Shipping. This seems that it could be more than a prospector can or wants to afford. So with the Gold prices bouncing up and down, there are many new people wanting to try prospecting without breaking their banks.

So.... I believe there are many DIY savvy individuals out there but I think that building the Crush Chamber is the most difficult part of the build. I am proposing that I sell 3 of my crushers without any motor or small engine, or pulleys. BUT, selling the Crush Camber and base. This would require the buyer only to purchase a 3" and a 5" cast iron v-belt pulley, the v-belt and mount your own motor or small engine. This would reduce the cost for you.

Therefore, I am asking for your opinion of what purchase price you would pay for this setup? Also the shipping has to be freight with an approximate cost of $200-250 in the lower US only.

I appreciate everyone's info and assistance.

Busy Busy Busy.. I am now building 3 more rock crushers with Gen II upgrades. Hopefully they will be a hit on eBay. Since the initial builds, I have been thinking of future upgrades for Gen III Rock crushers, more robust and beefy. I'll show the initial pics in a couple days. When I post them on eBay, for sale, I'll provide the links here. I am thinking to have the 1st one to include the chamber, base, motor mount and 6 HP Gas motor and Unistrut legs. The crusher will most likely be shipped separately from the motor due to weight constraints. This assembly is HEAVY!!!! So, stay tuned.. OH Yeah.... BTW, I am thinking that the initial price will be around $1,199 or best offer on eBay and PLUS SHIPPING/FREIGHT Charges. Let me know what you think... Thanks!!!

NEW ADVENTURE begins in 2016!
Currently attempting to build a DIY Rock Crusher for my trip out to my claim in Arizona. Hopefully I will start my trip on either Sunday or Monday. I will stop by Alabama Gold Camp to see friends.

Videos and/or photos will be posted but only depends on the Cell phone signal. I will also purchase a Gold Cube and have it delivered to the closest town to extract the fine gold from the rock crusher.
So, Fingers crossed and very excited!

Well, with all that wet Florida Sunshine theses past few days has caused a delay in the packing. Today I was able to pack 1/2 the back of the Tahoe and 1 of the Cartop carriers. WOW, I had hoped that I had some room for me to get rest at the various rest stops on the way, but not gonna happen.

Hopefully , tomorrow will bring me enough sunshine to continue packing and finally get on the road late in the afternoon. I plan on staying in mid Georgia before heading into Alabama on the next morning. I've been looking at the weather and seeing all the snow and freezing rain on my route, but it looks like Wednesday and Thursday should be smooth sailing.. Ummm that is as of today. we all know how the weather changes daily.

These are photos from my trip to Alabama Gold Camp in 2012. Stayed there for 3 weeks and even had some of the nights go down to 26 degrees.. Yup, kinda cold.

Today, getting the truck's oil changed. Preparing to start packing the truck, 2 cartop carriers and a cargo carrier. Hope there is enough room for me to lay down for my road trip naps. Trying to leave either Thursday or Friday.
