Skyrocketing insurance premiums shouldn’t dictate where or how you build in Florida.

If you are planning a new custom build, you can cut that ongoing expense before breaking ground. ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) replaces vulnerable framing with a solid, steel-reinforced concrete core engineered to withstand 200+ MPH Category 5 winds.

Planning a new build in Florida? Here is something most custom home buyers don't realize until it's too late: 🏠

The structural material you choose doesn't just affect how your home looks—it directly impacts your monthly home ownership costs.

When comparing ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) to traditional wood-frame or CMU (cinder block) construction:

🧱 Superior Strength: Monolithic steel-reinforced concrete withstands 200+ mph winds far better than wood framing or standard hollow block.
💸 Insurance Advantage: Insurers classify ICF as "Superior Construction" (Class 6), unlocking 35% to 60% savings on premiums.
🌡️ Better Efficiency: Unmatched airtight insulation keeps energy bills down year-round.

Build smarter from day one. Read how ICF compares before you finalize your floor plans:

We were absolutely thrilled to be part of the Split Oak Ranch Grand Opening! 🎉🌳

Watching Nicole and Neftali transform this beautiful ranch and bring their vision to life has been such a privilege. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to creating something truly special are a testament to who they are—and the incredible community they are building.

At Florida Green Building Construction, we are especially grateful to work alongside Neftali as our partner, owner, and general contractor. His leadership, experience, and passion continue to make a lasting impact on everything we do.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who came out to celebrate and show their support—from John at the Chamber, to the Dosa family, April from the Observer, the Black family, the Aragons, and so many others. This level of close-knit community support is what makes Flagler County so special.

Congratulations, Nicole and Neftali! We cannot wait to see everything that is ahead for Split Oak Ranch. 💚

At Florida Green Building Construction, we believe every detail matters when designing a custom home—from the foundation to the finishing touches.

One feature that always seems to spark debate? 🚪 Pocket doors.

Some homeowners love them for their sleek look and space-saving design. Others prefer traditional hinged doors for simplicity and accessibility.

So, let's settle this once and for all:

**Are you Team Pocket Door or Team Traditional Door?**

👍 Pocket Doors
❤️ Traditional Doors

Tell us why in the comments! We'd love to hear what features are a must-have in your dream home.
