This is probably one of my favorite jobs to date. Completely self-performed from start to finish exclusively by Grindstone Geo Services. No engineers needed to draw plans, no surveyors needed for layout, no added expense of a large crew and multiple pieces of equipment. Just one skidsteer and one owner/operator. That’s the level of excellence you can expect from Grindstone.

Project Highlights:
1,500 LF of new limestone driveway installed
700+ CY of strippings removed and repurposed on-site to fill low areas
Zero material hauled off-site — all unsuitable materials were utilized on-site
300+ CY of imported clean subgrade fill placed
900 tons of imported limestone road base installed
3+ acres of pasture tilled and regraded
150+ working hours completed

This project is a great example of what can be accomplished with the right equipment, careful planning, and a commitment to doing the job efficiently and correctly the first time.

A successful project always starts from the ground up. A quality clearing, fill, and grading job sets the tone—otherwise the rest of the project is just playing catch-up and wasting time correcting issues created from substandard work.

This recent lot, tucked into natural Old Florida landscaping and a beautiful oak hammock, was built right from the start. After clearing, we placed 65 loads of fill dirt and constructed the house pad in three compacted lifts, leaving it ready the following trades to start building this new home out of the ground.

Start it right, finish it strong.

We make dirt look good! That includes dirtbike and any other dirt based motorsport tracks. Ive been riding motocross for over 25 years and moving dirt longer than that. Ive built my fair share of private tracks for my friends kids on 50s all the way up to local pros trying to qualify for supercross. If you've got some land or even a decent backyard we can put a track on it.
Right now we have access to some really nice clay that makes a durable surface full of traction. Or we can even get mulch for the budget builds to tighten up those sandy areas.
