These modern gate builds require a lot of welding and they get pretty heavy. Not going to pretend like this one was easy but they are getting easier to complete each time. 👨🏽‍🏭

This gate is 80 inches tall, which means we have lots of welding to do with the horizontal slats. We came to do a trial fit and make sure everything fits correctly before we get it painted because if this gate is to big , correcting it means we would have to cut all of the slats and re weld. Not fun.

Our second time making one of these horizontal gates. They get quite heavy but they look great and give the home a nice modern look. ! We used .90 thickness for the frame but we recommended maybe going 1/8th thick because it tends to warp let me know what y’all think in the comments 👨🏽‍🏭
