This week’s RAS Crew Spotlight goes to Project Manager Chase Thein in celebration of her 1-year RAS-iversary! 🎉

Right now, Chase’s main focus is helping bring the Alaska Precast Solutions construction phase across the finish line. After everything that’s gone into getting the plant to this point, she says it’s incredibly rewarding to see the project entering its final stages.

Chase thrives on the constant problem-solving and loves how when things get hectic, she can count on her crew to keep her grounded and laughing. The funniest thing that’s happened on the job? Her official response: “No comment.” Apparently, some stories are better locked in the jobsite vault. 😂

Away from work, Chase is happiest with her boys — her husband, son, and two dogs — whose support makes it possible for her to juggle being a Project Manager, wife, and mom while somehow keeping her sanity intact. (Her self-proclaimed hidden talent. 😉)

Another milestone at the Palmer DNR project: 16 feet of Stronghold ICF wall, poured and complete.

With the wall pour topped out, the concrete scope is ready to turn over to the carpenter crew as they work toward getting the building dried in before winter.

This ICF wall package creates a resilient central core for vehicle and equipment storage, with the inherent strength and fire resistance of reinforced concrete providing added protection where it matters most. Whether it’s used throughout an entire building or strategically as a fire barrier between sections, ICF’s natural disaster resilience is an important element in creating a durable, high-performance building envelope designed for Alaska conditions.

Meet Emily Hatley, one of the many people working behind the scenes to keep our operations running smoothly.

Emily serves as Office Manager and Property Manager for our long-term rental portfolio through Seven Summits. From coordinating office operations to supporting tenants and team members, she plays a vital role across multiple areas of our organization.

One of the things Emily values most about working here is the people. She appreciates being part of a team where coworkers genuinely care about one another, creating an environment that feels more like family than just a workplace.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, her cat, her reptiles, and—believe it or not—her collection of 30 tarantulas! 🕷️

One thing many people don’t know about her? Emily is a foreign language enthusiast who can speak Japanese, Spanish, and French. 🌎
