• $300–$500 per day depending on experience
• All food and cooking supplies provided

Though it’s been brisk in Nikiski these past couple of weeks 🥶, Alaska’s spring sunshine is helping keep momentum moving as roofing work continues at the (APS) plant. ☀️

Crews are installing the steel roof framing and purlins that will support the building’s final roofing system, revealing the scale of the future production floor beneath the tall ICF walls. 🏗️

At the same time, RAS & APS are staging materials for construction of our first prototype — an important next step as we demonstrate what precast modular construction can deliver for Alaska. 🏠

More soon as progress continues. ➡️

Celebrating 3 years with Noah Sims on the RAS construction crew! 🎉

Noah works hard, plays hard, and shows up every day giving his best effort no matter what’s going on around him. Steady, unfazed, and always all in. We’re lucky to have him on the RAS crew where he’s currently working on building the new precast manufacturing plant.

Cheers to three years, Noah—and many more ahead. 🚧🔥

While many of us were hoping for a white Christmas, Alaska had other plans. ❄️☃️

Despite a drier and less “decorative” Christmas week, we’re heading into the weekend—and the New Year—steady and ready for what’s next.

Happy Friday!

Christmas is a pause in the middle of busy lives — a chance to be home, gather close, and remember why the work matters in the first place.

We hope this season brings rest, warmth, and meaningful time with the people you love.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Remote Alaska Solutions.

From the ground up, this is where the project really starts to feel like a precast plant. 🏗️

Last week marked the start of the roof system installation as steel roof supports were flown into place.

With cranes setting long-span beams and lifts guiding alignment from above, first prestressed is one step closer to delivering housing, shoreline remediation, warehousing, and other structural components for strong, sustainable, and scalable construction across the state. 💪

If anyone knows how to roll with whatever the day throws at him, it’s Liam. As one of our project managers, one day he’s ordering materials or lining out manpower for the week; the next he’s tracking budgets, wrangling subcontractors, or troubleshooting the random tech curveball.

What keeps him motivated is simple: he loves finding solutions. Liam is the guy who leans into a challenge and doesn’t quit until the problem’s solved.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find him hunting, fishing, or hanging out with Merle, his four-legged sidekick. Merle also makes regular appearances as the unofficial mascot of the home office.

Liam, thanks for four years of adaptability, hard work, and doing whatever it takes to keep projects moving. We’re lucky to have you as part of the crew.

🎄✨ It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the home office — complete with a tree that’s fully permitted, structurally sound, and decorated with concrete-grade joy. 🦺✨

Here’s to a season built on faith, family, and the kind of foundation you only get with good crews and grateful hearts. ✨🏗️

For our next spotlight, we’re recognizing someone who has been here since the very beginning — our Executive Vice President and longest-serving member of the RAS family of companies, Kevin Clark.

A third-generation concrete professional, Kevin grew up in his family’s construction businesses in Michigan, learning the trade from his dad and grandfather. That early foundation shows up in his Midwest work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to see a finished project long before the first piece of equipment ever hits the ground. 🏗️

When asked what he loves most about his work, Kevin didn’t hesitate: our people. He’s proud of the team we’ve built — a team that shows up, gets it done, and cares deeply about doing things right. That passion for people is matched by his intensity, sharp organization, and the kind of follow-through that keeps even the toughest projects moving — all with an infectious smile. 😃

Outside of work, Kevin’s reset comes from slowing down with his wife, family, and friends. After the pace of construction and the demands of growing multiple companies, being present with the people he loves is what he values most.

And while he’s exceptional at juggling more moving parts than most people would dare, he’s equally happy with the simple things: a big ribeye, mashed potatoes, and an ice-cold glass of milk at the end of a long day. 🥩 🥛

Kevin’s leadership, heart, and decades of concrete experience continue to anchor our work — shaping projects built for Alaska and the people who build them. 💪

When clocking out comes with its own light show. 🔥

The Northern Lights must’ve heard we topped out the walls — and decided to celebrate. Can’t blame ’em. The view from 65 feet up is electric. ⚡️

Rolling heavy into Nikiski with the new CAT 349 en route from N C Machinery thanks to the hauling power of Big Dreams Transport, LTD.

Because building a big precast future for Alaska doesn’t happen with small equipment. 🚧
