Older than the nation it defends, the U.S. Army has made a difference in the history and founding of America. This year we are celebrating how America's Army has challenged, empowered and equipped our Soldiers, because “Be All You Can Be” is more than just a slogan, it's the Army way of life.
The US Army's 251st Birthday Celebration will honor the sacrifices, achievements, and true spirit of American warriors through three distinct categories: Heroes, Legacy & Nostalgia. Hooah!

Women Veterans' Day is observed on June 12, honoring the service, sacrifices, and achievements of women in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The holiday commemorates the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, which allowed women to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. military, marking a historic milestone in military history. It recognizes the courage, dedication, and contributions of women veterans across all branches of the military, from World War II to present-day service members.

The Military Women’s Memorial in Washington, D.C., hosts a special event on June 12, 2026, celebrating over 250 years of women’s service to the nation and commemorating the 78th anniversary of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act.

This Women Veterans' Day, Hascall-Denke honors our veterans and we thank you for your service and sacrifice.

In a historic first, a U.S. Navy unmanned surface vessel (USV) Corsair was used in a sea rescue mission, demonstrating the operational integration of autonomous systems in combat and rescue missions. Task Force 59 integrates unmanned systems into maritime operations in the Fifth Fleet area.

Hascall-Denke antennas are used on unmanned systems on land, sea, and in the air, providing extended range and increased gain.

Dedicated to current and former members of the 112th Signal Battalion (Special Operations, Airb​orne), the Shadow Warrior Association (SWA) is a nonprofit, private organization created to honor the history and legacy of the 112th Signal Battalion.

Located on Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the SWA accomplishes its charter by providing educational scholarships to both 112th Soldiers and the children of 112th Soldiers, providing recognition to outstanding members of the signal community, and by ensuring the future prosperity of the 112th Signal Battalion.

Today marks the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. On 6 June 1944, nearly 160,000 troops from the U.S., Britain, Canada, and many other nations crossed the English Channel. A 1,200-plane airborne assault preceded an amphibious assault involving more than 5,000 vessels. It was as part of the biggest air, land and sea invasion ever executed.
The day is billed as “the beginning of the end of war in Europe.”
Operation Overlord was the codename for the Battle of Normandy, the Allied operation that launched the successful invasion of German-occupied Western Europe
during World War II. The operation was launched on 6 June 1944 with the Normandy Landings (D-Day).
Allied troops landed on the beaches code-named Omaha, Utah, Juno, Sword and Gold. On that single day, 4,414 Allied soldiers lost their lives, 2,501 of them Americans. More than 5,000 were wounded.
By the end of August, more than two million Allied troops were in France.

Hascall-Denke is incredibly excited to welcome Mr. Brian Bischoff to our ranks!
In his new role, Mr. Bischoff will play a key role in Global Business Development to expand Hascall-Denke’s Military market reach. Brian will be working closely with our sales, marketing, and product development teams to analyze emerging needs and translate operational requirements into opportunities that utilize Hascall-Denke’s core antenna expertise, active RF electronics, integrated RF subsystems, and mission-critical support equipment.
Brian joins us from Ultra Intelligence and Communications’ Tactical Communications division, where he was a Sr. Business Development Manager handling Special Operations and Air Force accounts. He brings thirty-five years of experience as a leader, project/program manager, change agent, and business developer in various federal information technology projects, special operations, cyber, joint operations, and ISR programs.
He retired from Air Force Special Operations Command in September 2024 as a Command Chief Master Sergeant after 34 years. Brian earned degrees from National-Louis University and a MS in Strategic Leadership, from University of Charleston, WV.
He lives in Parrish, FL with his wife, Heather, and has two sons, Alexander (32) and Zachary (23). In his free time, he enjoys golfing, sporting clay and target shooting, as well as cooking.
