I was absolutely shocked to sell more than 2 dozen mini gardens in our 3 August days of Market on Chocolate this year! We rolled these out last summer to a pretty mediocre reception until they hit the Renfaire scene, and watching the concept speak to the whimsy within people has been a fabulous experience ❤️

P.S. by the end, all of the pots left were- you guessed it- red 🤣

I've done quite a few posts in the last 2 years covering how i dress up a popup for faire participation at low cost ($130-$250) - both with or without sewing- and i finally compiled it into a blog post that fellow vendors looking for that low cost solution can reference.

* I love that period tent makers exist, and am thrilled for them to always be booked so far out, but i also think the faire should be accessible to small vendors that cant afford the investment of a period tent.

Renaissance Faires typically require that -if they even allow pop up tents at all- all modern parts of a popup be covered/disguised. Buying covers usually costs $1000+. They arent challenging to make and most small busi...

Announcement:

Ive made the difficult decision to bow out of Choctoberfest this year. While we do have the tents and tables etc, I just do not want to be stressing over inventory and making sure 2 booths get set in the morning and pulling extra tables and old tablecloths from storage and hoping everything makes it to the right location. Someday we might be at a place where i feel confident putting out 2 booths in 2 places at the same time, but we're not *quite* ready for it just yet. ❤️

We book our autumn schedule pretty solid, but you know i made time for pumpkins! 🎃 Our Pumpkin workshop rolls out right in between the PSL and Practical Magic 2, and its already time! Theres just 4 seats left in our September 6th pumpkin workshop! Do they have your name on them? 😉

P.S. we only had room in our calendar for one October workshop, and "its frickin' bats! I love Halloween!" 🦇
