Our client recently moved into their newly renovated 150,000 sf space in Redwood City. The VB TI team (who was kind enough to pose for a picture in between inspections and punchlist coordination) worked tirelessly to deliver an exceptional product on time and on budget. Everybody loves a good project time lapse! Here is our recently completed Menlo College residence hall, which will house 1/3 of the college’s students. This facility was crucial for a school centered in one of the country’s most expensive areas and with an incredibly diverse student body, many of whom “face significant barriers to persisting through college.” Grateful to be a part of this important project!

Vance Brown was pleased to see the Menlo College residence hall open to students this fall! The facility will house nearly 1/3 of Menlo College’s enrolled students.
Obstacles like Covid and the discovery of an abandoned foundation/slab from a 1930s building initially slowed construction. However, Vance Brown’s ability to procure and self-perform the wood framing controlled that volatile market condition and the project was ultimately a success. Congrats to our partners as Menlo College on their first new building in nearly a half century!
