Intelligent Agents offer important advantages for your sawmill operations. In this instance, we're monitoring status of a lug loader. The rectangular zone indicates the region under observation. When the lug loader successfully engages, lifts, and transfers the wooden block, the machine status is set to "Engaged." While it is trying to pick up the stud or the brakes are activated, the status changes to "Idle." The monitor zone color and the status bar at the top indicate the machine status. Intelligent Agents offer important advantages for your sawmill operations. In this instance, we're monitoring backlog. The rectangular zone indicates the region under observation. This zone actively monitors the current number of studs available in the backlog/buffer area. The count is shown at the center of the region.
The status bar in the top right corner updates with each board. The different colored boxes around the wooden blocks signify object detection, helping the agent identify potential issues as the boards near the lug loader. Intelligent Agents have many applications in manufacturing. Here, an agent inspects sheets of veneer wood paneling for knots, holes and split defects. If user-defined thresholds are met, the sheets are accurately placed in the accepted stack. Sheets that don't meet the specifications are placed in a rejection stack. There is no human in the loop here -- everything is controlled by an AI model that was trained with unobtrusive video collected onsite. The status bar in the top right corner increments as the boards cross over.
