We are proud to announce the successful delivery of the vehicle-passenger ferry FALCON to the Fisher Island Community Association (F**A). The FALCON will provide reliable and modern transportation service to the Fisher Island community.

The FALCON successfully completed trials prior to delivery and has entered service supporting daily operations between Fisher Island and Miami.

Two years ago, we told you how Eastern Shipbuilding Group has been awarded the contract to build a ferry for the Fisher Island Community Association.

Two years later, the vessel is now finished and is making trips back and forth between the private community and Miami.

Haney Technical College is proud to recognize our first group of Marine Electrician Apprenticeship students! ⚓⚡

Friday marked their final day for this school year, and we couldn’t be more excited about the progress they’ve made. This dedicated group has been building valuable skills and gaining hands-on experience that will prepare them for in-demand careers in the maritime and electrical industries.

We look forward to welcoming them back in August as they continue their journey toward becoming highly skilled marine electricians!

Announcing a new artificial reef deployment!

Yesterday, Bay County Artificial Reef Association deployed six steel artificial reef structures about 18 miles from St. Andrews Pass, creating one large offshore reef site. This project was made possible through Eastern Shipbuilding Charities, repurposing 6,000–10,000 lb steel structures into a new marine habitat.

Coordinates will be released in one year to allow the reef time to establish.
