😈 GRIMLEY STRIKES AGAIN…

Apparently Grimley decided these rooftop units needed a little rearranging. 🤦‍♂️

When we arrived, multiple condensers had been knocked over—leaving damaged equipment, refrigerant lines and electrical connections that needed attention.

🍀 Good thing Pip’s crew was called in to clean up Grimley’s mess.

Commercial HVAC problems don’t always happen neatly. When something goes wrong, the first job is figuring out what was damaged, what can be saved, and what needs to be corrected before putting the equipment back into service.

Keep the outdoor condenser clear.

Grass clippings, weeds, leaves, and shrubs can restrict airflow and make the A/C work harder. Keep at least 2 feet of clearance around the unit, and don’t stack anything against it.

What you’re looking at isn’t just ductwork — it’s a system that was designed before it was installed. 🍀

Here’s a look at one of our partial HVAC rough-ins before everything gets covered up.

For this home, we didn’t guess at the equipment size or ductwork:

✅ Manual J — calculated how much heating and cooling the home actually needs
✅ Manual S — selected the equipment to match that load
✅ Manual D — designed the duct system to deliver the proper airflow throughout the home

* Check your air filter
* Make sure supply vents are open
* Look for water around the indoor unit
* Make sure the outdoor unit isn’t covered in grass or debris
* Listen for anything that doesn’t sound normal
