π¦οΈ KNR WEEKEND WEATHER UPDATE π¦οΈ
Heat, Humidity & Storm Chances Return Across Northeast Texas & The Red River Valley
As we head into the weekend, North Texans can expect a mix of summer heat, increasing humidity, and periodic storm chances.
π¦οΈ Friday: Storms developing in Oklahoma will continue pushing south, with the greatest impact generally occurring along and north of I-20. High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to mid-90s, with isolated strong storms possible.
βοΈ Saturday: A welcome break from the rain arrives, but the heat turns up. Afternoon temperatures are expected to climb into the mid to upper 90s, with breezy conditions making it feel even warmer.
βοΈ Sunday: Our next cold front approaches from the north, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms beginning late morning and continuing through the afternoon and evening hours. Keep an eye on changing conditions if you have outdoor plans.
π€οΈ Early Next Week: Rain chances gradually decrease by Monday evening, and cooler air settles in behind the front. Highs will fall back into the low to mid-80s, providing a much-needed break from the heat.
