History of AccuTran Industries
AccuTran Industries finds its roots in 1969 when a group of concerned citizens banded together to seek funding for mentally disabled adults. In 1972 a grant was obtained from the Bluegrass Association for Mental Retardation and the Bourbon County Adult Training Center was established. In 1984 the Bourbon County Adult Training Center expanded it's services to include

mental, physical, development related disabilities. In 1987 AccuTran moved into its present location, a 10,000 square foot facility, on Legion Drive in Paris. In 1997, AccuTran Inc., changed its name once again to AccuTran Industries continuing its commitment in assisting individuals with disabilities to become contributing members of our community through Job Training opportunities and Rehabilitation services.

AccuTran has been lucky to meet some great people with some amazing companies while in the process of trying to sell trucks and buying a truck. Once again, a huge thank you to Lexington Truck Sales for helping us find exactly what we needed and then referring us to Crutcher Brothers in Lexington to sell one of our trucks; this led to us using Finley Towing and Recovery out of Georgetown.
