We recently had the opportunity to visit the Wichita Public Schools' Future Ready Center Manufacturing Pathway — an incredible program giving students hands-on manufacturing experience while still attending high school.

Our visit coincided with one of the Future Ready Experience field trips powered by NWI Aerostructures, where middle school students were able to tour the facility, participate in hands-on learning activities, and get an early look at the exciting opportunities available in manufacturing careers.

NWI is proud to sponsor these experiences and help make these field trips and learning opportunities possible. Investing in students today is an investment in the future of manufacturing.

At our recent all-hands meetings in Wichita, we took time to celebrate the momentum our team continues to build together — and enjoyed some BBQ while doing it.

From strong on-time delivery and quality performance to major investments in our future, there’s a lot happening across NWI Wichita. We shared updates on several key growth initiatives, including the addition of two new 4-meter CMMs and exciting progress on our fifth Makino machining cell. The first two machines are now in place, with machines #3 and #4 planned for the near future.

We also highlighted the continued growth of our space business, which continues to be an important market segment for us.

None of this growth happens without the dedication, skill, and teamwork of our employees. Thank you to the entire Wichita team for the work you put in every day to help drive our success forward. We’re excited about what’s ahead.

Over the past few days, our team has had the pleasure of showing appreciation for the incredible educators at Metro Nashville Public Schools' Glengarry Elementary. On Friday, we helped fuel Field Day by delivering pizzas for the teachers’ lunch. Today, we kicked off Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week with mugs filled with candy, fresh flower bouquets, and dozens of donuts.

Teachers and school staff play a vital role in shaping future generations, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to recognize their hard work and dedication.

Thank you to the Glengarry Elementary team for everything you do—we’re proud to support you!

At NWI, we believe strong partnerships are essential for success—and sometimes, that means stepping off the shop floor and onto the golf course.

We were proud to have our own Brian Stockwell, Numerical Control Machine Operator, join faculty and staff from Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville at the 22nd Annual TCAT Hartsville Golf Scramble.

This annual event is more than just a day of friendly competition—it’s an opportunity to strengthen relationships, connect with the community, and continue building the collaboration between NWI and TCAT. As our partnership grows, so does our shared commitment to developing skilled talent and supporting the future of manufacturing.

Thank you to TCAT Hartsville for hosting a great event. We’re looking forward to many more opportunities to connect—both on and off the course.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming students from Wichita Public Schools' Future Ready Center to tour our NWI Wichita facility.

With graduation right around the corner for many of these students, it was exciting to connect with individuals who are actively exploring careers in manufacturing—ranging from aerospace engineering to CNC machining.

Tours like these are more than just a walkthrough—they’re an opportunity to bridge the gap between education and industry. By giving students a firsthand look at advanced manufacturing in action, we hope to spark interest, answer questions, and help them envision their future in this field.

A big thank you to Andy Ford and Ryan Hernandez for sharing their knowledge and experience with the next generation.

The Army Aviation Association of America Summit in Nashville was an energizing experience for the NWI Nashville team, bringing together military leaders and industry partners committed to advancing aviation.

From discussions with industry peers and customers to conversations with soldiers, the event offered a valuable, real-time look at where aviation is heading. The energy across the show floor was clear—innovation is moving quickly, and the excitement around new capabilities and technologies was impossible to miss.

Events like AAAA are an important reminder of why we stay engaged. They keep us connected to our customers, grounded in real-world needs, and aligned with the future of aviation.

So much to showcase during our recent Board meeting at NWI Wichita—progress that reflects both where we are today and where we’re headed next.

We highlighted a continuous improvement project focused on bringing improved process flow and optimized machining performance. More importantly, it’s shifting our mindset—from today’s output to planning for the week ahead and beyond. This foundation is critical as we prepare for higher-volume production on our space programs.

We also shared updates on our CMM expansion, with two additional 4-meter CMMs arriving the first week of May.

And, of course, a major highlight—our new Makino Cell #5. This advanced cell includes two machines, dual load/unload stations, and a 12-pallet system that will ultimately support up to six machines and 24 pallets. The first machine was released to production on April 6, with the second on track for completion in May.

Strong momentum, smart investments, and a clear focus on the future—exciting things are happening at NWI.

Big day at NWI Nashville. Yesterday, we began installation of our new bavius technologie gmbh AeroCell 700/200.

This isn’t just another machine. It’s the first purpose-ordered machine for our Nashville site in over 20 years—a major step forward in our ongoing transformation.

From cutting the floors and pouring foundation to today’s placement of the machine base, these photos capture more than progress—they represent investment, momentum, and the future of advanced aerostructures manufacturing at our Nashville site.

As part of our Project 2035 vision, this AeroCell will bring next-level precision, speed, and capability to support the complex demands of aerospace and space programs.

Inspiring the next generation starts with showing them what’s possible.

Three of our Nashville team members—Katelynn Miller, Brandon Monter, and Joey DeMarco—had the opportunity to present at Metro Nashville Public Schools' Paragon Mills Elementary School Career Day.

Speaking to nearly 150 students across 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, they shared insights into careers in manufacturing engineering, configuration engineering, and program management—helping bring the world of advanced manufacturing to life in a way that was engaging and accessible.

From answering thoughtful questions to sparking curiosity about how things are made, it was an incredibly rewarding experience for our team. We’re proud to support initiatives that encourage young minds to explore STEM pathways and imagine their future careers. Thank you to Paragon Mills Elementary for the warm welcome.

NWI Wichita employees stepped up once again and volunteered with Simply Hygiene, an incredible organization dedicated to providing access to essential hygiene products across the greater Wichita area. Each month, Simply Hygiene supports over 210 schools and 100 organizations, reaching more than 95,000 individuals in need.

Our team rolled up their sleeves to help organize and package hygiene items to prepare for an upcoming distribution day—playing a small but meaningful role in a much larger mission to promote dignity, health, and well-being in our community.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered your time and energy. Your efforts make a real impact!
